- You need a Class-3 DSC to sign and submit bids on government portals.
- Buy it from a licensed Certifying Authority (eMudhra, Sify, NSDL, etc.).
- Keep your PAN, Aadhaar, photo and a mobile/email ready for verification.
- It usually arrives on a USB token in 1–2 days; valid for 1–3 years.
- Register the DSC on each portal (GeM, CPPP, state) before you bid.
